Among our numerous accomplishments as a team are:
- Basic C++ bindings for
elara-array - Multilingual support for our website
- A detailed buildable prototype design for a free-electron maser designed for 1 GHz microwave power beaming
- Major advances in our research, including electron beam and undulator modelling, atmospheric RF modelling, and development of new numerical solvers
- Extensive simulations that gave us a lot of data to fine-tune our design
- A beautiful presentation poster to showcase our work to the world
Note: For more information about the technical details, please see our 2025 research report.
I am deeply impressed and humbled by how far we have come as a team. Our ranks have swelled with so many passionate new people, and our RCOS team has outperformed all expectations - it is thanks to them that we owe our success. I would like to thank all RCOS leaders and mentors and especially Professor Turner for all their support, as well as all of those who have encouraged and helped us along the way.
With this year behind us, we are one step closer to realizing our vision of a better world. There is certainly a lot of work ahead of us, but seeing our progress gives me faith that one day, we will succeed.
