Project Elara is now at RCOS!

I'm excited to announce that Project Elara is now officially a project at the Rensselaer Center for Open Source (RCOS)! In this article, we'll explain what this means for the Project.
From the beginning, Project Elara has been a fully open-source project. We believe in developing technologies that are accessible to everyone and available for anyone to use, share, and build on. So we are very glad to have the opportunity to join RCOS, an open-source initiative at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute! In particular, RCOS helps us in several ways:
- We gain a public platform (through presenting at RCOS) to spread awareness of Project Elara
- We have an avenue to gain more members, particularly experienced developers
- We gain official recognition (by Rensselaer) as an open-source organization, a key stepping stone to the nonprofit registration that we hope to soon attain
For these reasons (and more), we express our thanks to Rensselaer as well as the brilliant faculty and student leaders of RCOS. You can learn more about them at their website here.
