A directive for consolidating Project resources towards our primary aim and discontinuing legacy work.

On behalf of the powers vested in me as Director of Project Elara, I implement the following measures:

That due to the historical roots of Project Elara, it has been the official policy of the Project to maintain continued interest into speculative technologies, such as spacetime manipulation and black hole reactors;

That it must be recognized, that such technologies are at the frontiers of physics, and that their underlying mechanisms (let alone feasibility) cannot be verified or disproved with near-term experiments;

That from a scientific point of view, the speculative nature of such research is naturally and rightfully to be met with skepticism;

That it follows that continued research into such fields is unproductive for the Project in general, particularly in terms of mainstream acceptance of its research;

That I therefore direct that the Project cease theoretical research into such technologies, and modify its Handbook to reflect this new policy;

That this directive in no way precludes a future restart of theoretical research, and is not intended to discourage others working on such technologies, to whom we give our full support and blessing;
